Turban Ban in Ireland - Please Write an Email to Irish Authorities

Recently a member of sikh community from Ireland volunteered to Join Garda Researve (Voluntary) Force. In the middle of his training, he was asked to remove his turban and wear force's hat.Please write an letter of appeal to Irish authorities and email it to following emails addresses.

Please spare five mintue and send a letter of appeal. Lets us protect our right to wear turban.

Listen, they are called 'uniform' for a reason - because everyone wears the same one. When in Rome do as the Romans.

If this chap wants to join the Gardai he has to abide by their rules, not vice versa. If he is not happy with the uniform or if it goes against the rules of his religion the obvious solution is to not join.

If you are looking to give the ultra right-wing anti-immigration lobby a reason to complain about immigration to this country you are giving them very good reason. Please don't encourage them.
